This piece was made to be a portable work to take to Japan to be part of a Paper exhibition at
Ino Town Paper Museum, on the island of Shikoku.

As traveling is an important part of my life, the Book for a Journey incorporated all the words in
the Thesaurus that had some meaning for me relating to travel and journeys that I had taken.
